What Is the Holiday Vintage Ball?

The Holiday Vintage Ball is a wonderful formal evening of colonial-style dancing (line dances & waltzes), taught and led by callers and a vintage band.  The purpose of the ball is to create a wholesome environment where parents and youth from the Roanoke homeschool community can fellowship together in a context unique to other homeschool activities.  The ball provides an enjoyable opportunity to step back in time to dress and behave quite differently than we normally would in our modern culture, at such events as a prom or an informal dance.  And while most dances require a partner, it is not necessary or even recommended to bring a date/partner.

The Holiday Vintage Ball is a "family affair," so parents are encouraged to attend with their children. Many families have made this an annual holiday tradition; we invite you and your family to come and enjoy a wonderful evening of dancing, light refreshments and fellowship in a lovely local hotel ballroom!

Our Vision

An occasion celebrating in full awareness the blessings of God and His express purpose for our design.  That His pleasure might be recognized at such an event where young men and women, husbands and wives would desire to partake in a vintage, time-honoring presentation of dance; where each participant reflects the highest glory and loveliness of Christ through honoring speech, dance and dress.

1 Cor. 10:31 "So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God."

Invitations to the Holiday Vintage Ball are extended to Roanoke-area families who are currently homeschooling their children, aged 13 and older.  Please see the Tickets tab on this website for more information.
